UGA Senior Receives Feighner Award

Senior Sanna Barrineau is the recipient of the 2007 Feighner Award given for the Outstanding Undergraduate Environmental Ethics Certificate Paper.

Sanna Barrineau is the recipient of the 2007 Feighner Award given for the Outstanding Undergraduate Environmental Ethics Certificate Paper. Sanna’s paper is entitled “The Influence of the Finnish National Epic, the Kalevala, on Modern Day Finland’s Environmental Ethic”. Sanna is a senior at UGA majoring in International Affairs and Environmental Economics and Management. She is an Athens native, and learned Finnish from her mother, Anna-Mari, a native Finn. Sanna currently is a member of the UGA track team competing as a heptathlete. Her EECP faculty reader was Betty Jean Craige.
