Six CED alumni included on list of top businesses
Six CED alumni have been placed in the UGA Alumni Association’s Bulldog 100 ranking of the best alumni-owned businesses. The honorees are Ed Castro, Gena Knox, Kenny Seamon, Dale Jaeger, Rob Jaeger, and Leerie Jenkins, Jr.

This is the first year the ranking has been compiled. The CED graduates are honored alongside leaders of such recognizable companies as Aflac, Build-a-Bear Workshop, and Snorg Tees.
Over 400 companies were nominated to the list. Nominees had to demonstrate revenues of at least $100,000 for 2009; be in business for at least five years; and have a UGA alumnus owning at least 50 percent of the company or serving as CEO, president, or managing partner.
The Bulldog 100 will be celebrated Saturday, January 30, with a reception, dinner, and awards ceremony at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta. Dan Amos, president and CEO of Aflac and UGA alumnus, will be the featured speaker for the evening.
