Claire Cothran New Director

Claire Cothren is working for Waycaster & Associates Architects in Natchez as the Director of Interior Design and Historic Preservation. She works on residential and commercial projects and renovations. Currently, she is working on the restoration of the historic Yazoo and Mississippi Railroad passenger Depot in Natchez, a total restoration of Homestead Plantation in Port Allen, LA, a conservatory restoration at Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville, LA, restoration of a kitchen dependency at Auburn Plantation in Natchez, restoration of the Columbia Waterworks Building in Columbia, MS, and restoration of the oldest operating courthouse in Mississippi – the Amite County Courthouse in Liberty. She also has several new construction commercial and residential projects to look forward to and, in September, will begin teaching adult, non-credit, interior design classes in September at Copiah Lincoln Community College in Natchez.
