MLA Admissions Timetable
The deadline to apply for the MLA program is December 31. Most students admitted to the program will be selected by the end of February.
At the earliest possible date take the Graduate Record Exam and, if required, the Test of English as a Foreign Language. These tests are given only a few times a year. Waiting for the scores is a common cause of delayed applications. Contact the Graduate Record Examinations Board, Educational Testing Service, CN 6000, Princeton, NJ 08541-6000.

- Deadline for applications to be considered at first admissions meeting.

- Further on-campus interviews.

| Feb-Mar |
- Admissions committee reviews complete applications and holds first admission meeting; one-half or more of the entering class may be admitted at this meeting; the committee may postpone decision on some applicants until March or April.

| Mar-Apr |
- Admissions committee decides upon all complete applications; entering class is filled, and admissions are closed for the year.
- Students given until mid-April to notify College of Environment & Design of acceptance of position.

- Orientation of entering students and beginning of classes.
