Entry into the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program is dependent only upon UGA admissions policies. There are no additional requirements for admission at this time. Transfer students are strongly encouraged to meet with the Undergraduate Program Director, David Spooner ( or 706-542-0063), before applying to UGA. MLA Admission Requirements
The Master of Landscape Architecture program admits an average of 20 students each year. All students begin their studies in the fall semester of each academic year. Applications must be completed by December 31st, for the following academic year, to be guaranteed consideration by the admissions committee and the opportunity to compete for assistantships. Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree. Students from all undergraduate disciplines are encouraged to discuss their potential for success in the MLA program with the program director. An interview is strongly recommended so that applicants may meet the director, the faculty, and other students. Accommodations at the Georgia Center are available at a discount for prospective graduate students.

The Master of Historic Preservation program admits an average of 20 students each year. All students begin their studies in the fall semester of each academic year. While applications are received at any time, those applications completed by February 15th, for the following academic year, will be guaranteed consideration by the admissions committee and the opportunity to compete for assistantships. Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree. Students from all undergraduate disciplines are encouraged to discuss their potential for success in the MHP program with the program director. An interview is strongly recommended so that applicants may meet the director, the faculty, and other students.
