MLA Internships

Most MLA students obtain professional experience from a summer internship before their final year of study. Internship positions are arranged by individual students in accord with their professional and geographic interests, ability to travel, and advice from the school. Georgia students have obtained internship positions all over the country and the world, with consulting offices, design-build companies, arboreta, and planning and design agencies at all levels of government.

MHP Internships

An internship is a graduation requirement and, at the student’s discretion, may be taken for credit or non-credit. Those taking the internship for credit will do so under the three-hour HIPR 6613: Historic Preservation Internship course.
