Studies Abroad Program (Home Page)
The Public Service and Outreach office of the School of Environmental
Design conducted research, produced a report, and gave two public lectures
in Ghana. Under the direction of Pratt Cassity, the office trained the
country's newly formed Cape Coast Historic Preservation Commission. The
goal is to develop a long-term relationship between the University of
Georgia and both non-governmental organizations and the universities in
Ghana.

An exchange program is available with the Royal
Melbourne Institute of Ecology
and the University
of Canberra in Australia with the approval of the Dean and subject
to certain exchange conditions.

in the Adriatic and rural villages in northwest Croatia.

In conjunction with the Lamar
Dodd School of Art, the College provides a study abroad program in
Cortona, Italy offering up to 9 credit hours on instruction in landscape
architecture and three credit hours on instruction in art history.

Provides students with a unique opportunity to participate in an interdisciplinary
field course at The Ossabaw Island Natural Heritage Preserve, a 26,000
acre barrier island located near Savannah, Georgia.

of Oceanography (SkIO), is a research unit of the University System of
Georgia located on the coast near Savannah.
