A GARDEN FOR PEACE

Students from the fall 2002 Design and Meaning class (LAND 7050) set themselves the task of trying to give physical form to the expression of "peace". They chose to use a garden as their model, studied historic precedents, materials and symbolism, then constructed a model of a "Peace Garden" for a final project. Brian LaHaie was the instructor.
