Hi, my name is Katie Sewell and I am a third-year in the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program at UGA. I am so excited to be an Ambassador this year and represent one of the highest ranked Landscape Architecture programs in the nation!
Why did I come to the College of Environment + Design? My first two years at UGA were spent switching between various majors and feeling lost. I was finally fed up with having no passion for my courses. I took a leap of faith and switched into the BLA program. Since then, I’ve been hooked. The BLA program in the CE+D combines my organizational and efficiency skills, love for the outdoors, and my creative side. The courses are challenging, fun, and encompass real-world planning and environmental problems. I am looking forward to entering a field where I will make lasting and positive impacts on people and the environment around us.
